This mirror certainly isn’t the fairest one of all!
But it’s mini and we all know that anything mini is extra super-duper cauuute.
And plus, for 69 cents it was practically FREE. How could I not buy it?
So, does anybody know what happens when the whistle blows in five minutes?
(I get a time out?)
Everyone goes to lunch! Which means this mirror will be…
(…Painted?!)
Yessssss! I painted a mirror. (Can anyone name that movie?)
So I popped it apart and scraped the Goodwill price tag off it.
Then I gave it a good coat of spray paint primer and two coats of spray paint Satin Heirloom White.
Gold, OUT. Heirloom White, IN.
For now it’s in the hall next to the hideous laundry room closet doors.
White on white? Not so much. But once we move, this will look ah-dorable in K Bear’s bedroom… Hmmm… Maybe a new coat of Hot Pink instead of heirloom white…
Now it IS the fairest one of all.
I take that back. K Bear is the fairest one of all…
But the mirror comes in a close 2nd.
(And that is what our kitchen table looks like most of the time. I have to clean it off every time I need a photo of it. :D)
Mirror – 69 cents. Seeing K Bear’s reflection in one of my projects – Priceless.
This is so cute! I ♥ how mini it is!
L-O-VVVVVV-E IT!!!

Teeny, tiny = equals sweeeeeeeeet…
I start chuckling now anytime I see anything with a gold finish on a blog, because I know what the next step is going to be. ( I know that it won’t stay gold for long! ).. and yes, it’s adorable! I’m going to have to get some spray primer and some of that Heirloom White you speak of, and use so often
too freakin’ cute!!!!
You weren’t kidding about it being a mini. It looked big in those first photos and then the last ones.. it’s teeny. So cute!!
What a great find! This turned out so pretty
I am stopping by from New Friend Friday at The Girl Creative.
I am a new follower of yours
I adore the way you see potential in things other people probably ignored.
The Missy Pie in the reflection is even cuter though.
Good job! It looks great. I love your fancy camera work too:)
Yeah! This is what I am talking about! Be blessed. Cindy
So cute! Love the reference to Monsters Inc. – lol!
They never seem to have good stuff at our Goodwill, great find!
Monsters Inc. Jacks most favorite movie on the planet…and the reason I’ve been so crazy about monsters lately! LOL, we’re even re-doing his room in monster theme.

very sweet post!
OK, I’m a newbie to this. What brand name of paint has the infamous Heirloom White? Thanks!
Wow, I never cease to be amazed by the power of Heirloom White. From dated to fab, awesome!
What a sweet project! I love finding things at Goodwill to make over!
Heirloom white strikes again! I love how this color transforms everything and anything. Having used it so many times my family just assumes now that everything I bring home will be painted!
Woot woot! 69 cents – great buy! I love how little it is.
Thanks for linking up with Sugar & Spice.

You’re too good! I envy your vision. Do you just stroll the aisles of Goodwill and get bajillions of ideas? Where does it all come from? Teach me!
