Let’s talk Monograms.
I’m a little obsessed. I love them. I just can’t help myself!
Is there a support group or a 12-step program for monogram addiction?
Here are a few monograms I’ve got goin’ on around the hood…
I planted a great big H in the center of my entry way mirror.
I added a beautiful H monogram to a candle.
I made this adorable plate…
And of course my soap dispenser. I love this thing!
Let’s not forget my fun knife block!
I also like to plaster everything with my full last name…
Here’s a cooler I repainted:
And my huge pain-in-the-patootie Monogram and last name in one cardboard H.
If I venture into my HoH logo, I can add this plaque to the list:
Of course, these are just the items I’ve actually blogged about! I haven’t even tapped the surface with all my H stuff.
Are you totally obsessed with Monograms as well?
Lesley says
I heart “your” monograms! I think your last name is just pretty and the letters of it are pretty. The H is so nice in almost any pretty monogram-ish font. Our last name starts with C…. It’s okay, but can’t get as fancy as your H.
I have monogram envy… lol.
I do want to try the freezer paper stenciling of the three letter monogram on some pillows for the bed. I finally got a cricut, but need to buy that SCAL program to use prettier fonts.

There should seriously be a club for this addiction. I ♥ monograms! They just *fit* in so many places! You should totally have a monogram linky party. Because, ya know, I need even more ideas of ways to use them! 🙂
Mindy says
I really like how they look, but I’ve never tried it! …I should… 😉

When I read the title of this post, I had to do a double take! I could have the very same issue AND we have the same name. (the Allison, not the Hepworth part – ha!)
I don’t even have a great last name, but I’ve been plastering my house with “L”‘s and “Leach” all over the place!
Les says
Love them. It’s the whole reason I bought my Silhouette. Monograms are the new black.
Liz @ the Brambleberry Cottage says
Great looking monograms, Allison. Your addiction is a sure fire way to teach the kiddos the first letter of their last name, right? lol
Thanks for hosting your party. I would love to have you join me for my weekly party—still in progress. And it would be great to have your wit linked to my five-week-long party—”Funny Faux Pas Follies”!

I am so glad it is not just me!! At last count I have 30-odd different mongrams around my house. That doesn’t even count clothes!! I love what you do with yours and I am inspired. I love your cooler, I may have to do that soon!

I have always thought it would be great to own one of those monogram sewing machines that you see in Kiosks at the mall…..they use them to put lettering on hats and purses….I would go crazy in my house……my family just might have an intervention…..smiles.

I just made a cute little monogrammed picture for my gallery wall. I think I might also be on my way to monogram obsession! Thanks for the inspirations!
