Hey everyone! I’m Jenna and I blog over at The Mommy Diaries.
First, I’m so excited to be guest posting over here at House of Hepworth’s today. She’s amazing, don’t you agree? I’m seriously blown away with all of the awesome things she makes and does and everything! So thanks Allison, thanks for the awesomeness that is you and your blog!
So a little about me…
I’m a mom of a sweet 9 month old little boy, Grayson, and wife to a wonderful hubby, Josh. I graduated from BYU with my degree in elementary education and taught for 3 years before I had Grayson. Now I’m a SAHM and I love it! It can be so hard and very tiring but I’m so grateful I get to stay home and raise my precious boy and take care of our home. It’s the best job and so worth it. My hubby is in medical school about to start his 3rd year. We live in Kentucky and he goes to the University of Kentucky. {Go Cats!}
I’ve had this blog ever since I got married which was 3 years ago as of June 7th. The first 2 1/2 years it was our family blog. Then soon after my sweet little boy was born in August of 2010 I discovered the world of craft, DIY, decor, mommy, you-name-it blogs! My baby took a long time nursing, so during that I would browse the internet and read all the fabulous blogs. I loved it! Eventually, I wanted to get in on the action too. So I started posting about crafts I’d made and such. This was my first craft post in the blogging world! Then soon after, I got a blog makeover and The Mommy Diaries was born!
I still post about my family. I didn’t want to do 2 separate blogs. It seems like way too much work. And I post about crafts, mommy stuff, and whatever else I feel like. Ever since I’ve started reading about a million different blogs, I have a million projects on my to-do list. I love making things, being creative and crafty, and decorating my house. It is so fun. Here are some projects I’ve done in the past.
So handy if you have a baby! Seriously, this is an easy one people. Just a lot of straight lines.
This is fun and easy basic wreath with burlap rosettes. The fun is switching out the small space with different colored rosettes whenever you want! Read more about it here.
Well that’s a little about me and some things I love to do. Hope you enjoyed it and I’d love for you to come visit me at The Mommy Diaries and say hi. You can’t have too many bloggy friends!
